Tax season is here, and we are here to help.

Our office is pleased to host a free Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinic for residents of Winnipeg West. We are proud to partner with Community Financial Counselling Services to support eligible constituents during tax season.

The clinic will operate through a secure document drop-off model. Bring your tax documents to our office, and volunteer accountants working virtually will complete your return with accuracy and confidentiality.

Who qualifies?
Residents of Winnipeg West with a simple tax situation and modest income.

A simple tax situation generally includes:

• Employment income
• Pensions
• CPP, OAS, Employment Insurance, disability benefits, or social assistance
• RRSPs
• Support payments
• Scholarships, bursaries, or grants
• Interest income under $1,200

Modest income guidelines:

• 1 person: up to $40,000
• 2 persons: up to $55,000

We are unable to complete returns if you:

• Are self-employed or have employment expenses
• Have business or rental income
• Have capital gains
• Filed for bankruptcy
• Are filing for a deceased person
